Military Dining Out in Austin.

We had a wonderful time in Austin last weekend at the Military Dining Out. Gabe's uniform was flawless so he didn't have to drink from the Grog bowl!

Halloween Campout 2009

OK... this is my absolute favorite picture of all time. We were on our way home from the campout and Zoe puts her spider on her head and just continues about her business like it's not even there!!! We were laughing so hard at her. She didn't even realize what we were lauging about! That is the spider we use to scare dad every year at the campout. It has become a tradition, but Zoe wanted to take it home with her, so dad let her!

We had a lot of fun on the campout this year. Zoe actually went fishing and liked it! Here are some pic's of her and Katie or as we like to call them "salt and pepper" sitting around the campfire the first night! Dad had fun playing with the girls together. I'm sure it reminds him of us as little girls!

Drill weekend!!!

During October drill we had "family day" and everyone got to go on Sunday. They had a costume contest for the kids and lots of games that more of the soldiers were playing than their kids!!!! Zoe fell asleep with her blanket over her head about 10 min. down the road after we left. GO SUPER GIRL!!!

16 WEEKS!

I am sooo much bigger this time around. I am only 16 weeks and this baby is already taking over my body!!!!!! OH NO... I still have 5 months to go! AAAAGGGGHHHHH!

Zoe LOVES this new dress she got from her Abuela. Gabe's parents were in Mexico all last week and brought her back two really beautiful dresses... this one was definately her favorite! Thank you Abuela!

Getting ready for Campout '09!

Zoe got her new sleeping bag this weekend for the big family campout in October! She loves being outside, and really loves it for a whole 3 days! We are so excited, and already got the shirts to make. We can't wait!

HOMECOMING!!!!

We went to Caney Creek's Homecoming game lastnight, but didn't stay too long bc I was feeling pretty crummy. We wanted Zoe to get to wear her mum that Gabe had made for her. He did a good job on picking it out, too! We love that she got to cheer with the cheerleaders on the track! Go Zoe!!

Gabe, Zoe and I are doing great! We have started school and are well into the month of September. The students are a little crazy already, but we are used to this. I am in my fourteenth week of pregnancy and not feeling so sick anymore! Smells still bother me, though! We haven't written in a while, but hopefully we will start posting more especially with the pregnancy!

GREEN DAY!!!!

GREEN DAY ROCKED OUR UNDIES OFF!! This was the best concert I have seen since Aerosmith and Stone Temple Pilots! I love that Billie Joe has an awsome personality and worked the crowd like crazy! We had a lot of fun.

July 4th 2009

We had a great time July 4th in Jacksonville! We toasted to Gabe's grandparents that just past recently and it was very sweet! Look at those twins!

More Ft. Leonard Wood!!

Here are some pic's from Missouri that I found very interesting! Ok... from left to right... Me, Gabe and a tank (enough said). There are gas stations everywhere up there called "Kum and Go" and we laughed every time! This was Gabe's room "123" and he was the only person there that actually put his name on the door! The fourth picture is the "PX" where you can buy everything in the world TAX FREE!!! I stayed there everyday! The last picture is the greatest to me... it's a piece of the Berlin Wall. I love how it says "PEACE" and "TEAR DOWN THIS WALL" in graffiti. It was touching!

Ft. Leonard Wood

Gabe just graduated with HONORS from Engineering school in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. He will now be promoted to 1 Lt. and we are very proud of him. We are so thankful that all his family could be there to support him. We love you guys very much!

Kerrville Trip!

We had so much fun seeing Nana and Papa at the River! Zoe and Katy finally get along and can play together... they're adorable. Josh caught a "guadalupe bass" as he calls it! I showed Zoe how to ride down the river in a tube... We had a blast, and can't wait to go back!

We went swimming today!!!!

Zoe had so much fun today at the swimming pool. They were having a luau for "customer appreciation day." She picked out green! Yea! Oh check out the fat nasty in the background. Zoe starred at her the whole time!

This is Gabe leaving for work this morning at 6:00am. Yes, I am making eggs and coffee in the background, bc I am not use to this crazy stuff this early in the morning. My craziness doesn't come into my classroom 'til 8:30 every morning!!!! Isn't he a HOTTIE!!!

Zoe in Training!!!!

There are so many parks and playgrounds here for Zoe to "train." She played for hours and we had such a good time! Zoe and daddy are happy to be back together again... they won't stop picking at each other. Gabe and I are also very glad to be together again. I know we are going to have a great week, bc there is so much to do here!!! I will update again tomorrow!

Zoe's Pic-Nic

Zoe and the Boys had a pic-nic at Rhonda's last week. How cute are they??? Yes, Zoe is the only girl! She handles herself well, though. We really have enjoyed her being with Rhonda the past two years. She has learned soooo much!

SCHOOLS OUT!!!!!!!!

OMG!!! ARE THESE KIDS READY TO GET OUT OR WHAT????????????? AGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a rough last week of school, but we all love each other so much we kept it together! I love these rats!

Uncle Mike worked hard!!!

Mike and Maria came over Sat. to help out with the yard. Check out that edging job!!!! OOOOOH-WEEEEEE! Lil Kat is highly enjoying herself. I am so greatful to have family to help. I should've taken before and after pictures bc the yard was a HOT MESS!!! Mike, I can't THANK YOU enough!!! WE love you guys!

Memorial Day weekend!

Zoe and I got to see Gabe over Memorial Day weekend. This is a picture of Zoe saluting her daddy (him being an officer and all). She's almost got it down! Gabe only has 4 more weeks of officer training in Missouri, and we will drive up to see him graduate on June 27th. Zoe really misses him and talks about him all the time. I am definitely getting anxious myself sometimes. I really appreciate everyone that has supported us through his military career. I know he will continue in the military forever and a day, and I am very happy for him that he knows who he is! Most of us spend our whole lives trying to figure it out! He has brought so much joy to my life and has really made me grow up and accept responsibilities that I was letting slide. Thank you honey!... and THANK YOU to all of our friends and family whom have stood by our side through this difficult separation!!! We love each of you!

Mother's Day Weekend with Gabe

Gabe and I finally got to see each other after a month. It was a very bitter sweet weekend. This is a picture of us having a cookout at Whit and Willis' new Casa! Notice all the choice of drinks! Gabe and I are really tired of being away from each other, but we are trying to be positive. We know this will be over soon. We have about 6 weeks left of him being in Missouri. We definately appreciate each other more, and act like we are dating again! Ladies, if you get a chance... have your husband leave for 7 mos., it's a great spark for the marriage!!!! jk..

Mother's Day Luau!!!

Whitney and Willis just a gorgeous home in Mckinney, so Mom, Dad and I headed to Dallas for the weekend. Saturday night we surprised mom with a Mother's day luau. Our best friends Deb and Carol came to join the festivities!!! WE LOVE YOU MOM!!!
